Watching IPTV Films and Series on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad

Watching IPTV on Apple TV, iPhone or iPad takes a single free App Store app, Smarters Player Lite, and the PrimeFlexMedia login we send over WhatsApp. No sideloading is involved. The listed developer is WHMCS SMARTERS, and Apple silicon Macs can install it as well. Give each device about eight minutes. The login, or the 24-hour trial, normally shows up within 15 minutes. TiViMate has never been released for Apple, so ignore listings that borrow the name. After the login, this page covers the Movies and Series tiles, genre browsing, seasons and episodes, subtitle and audio choices on the Siri Remote, a film watchlist and smooth 4K playback on Apple TV 4K.

What to have ready for IPTV on your Apple TV and iPhone

  • An Apple TV HD or 4K, or an iPhone or iPad on a current iOS or iPadOS version
  • An Apple Account able to get free apps
  • The PrimeFlexMedia login lines from our WhatsApp message
  • Home Wi-Fi for the opening sync, and Ethernet on the Apple TV if you plan to watch 4K films

No login yet? Start a 24-hour PrimeFlexMedia trial with no card and follow along. Curious what sits behind the Movies tile? Read about the on-demand film library and how TV series are laid out by season, or compare plan lengths and screen counts.

IPTV on Apple TV and iPhone: 10 steps from login to the film library

  1. Decide which screen goes first

Every Apple device runs the same app with a similar layout. Apple TV is the obvious pick for film night on the big screen. An iPhone works well for a quick first test while the TV is busy. Once the login works on one device, every extra one takes only minutes.

  2. Get Smarters Player Lite

Type Smarters Player Lite into the App Store search and make sure the developer line says WHMCS SMARTERS before tapping Get. Lots of unrelated apps borrow the words Smarters or TiViMate. The app is free, with an optional Premium upgrade that cost 1.99 dollars in September 2026; PrimeFlexMedia needs none of it.

  3. Enter the PrimeFlexMedia details

Launch the app and pick Xtream Codes as the login type. On a phone, long-press each line in our message, copy it and paste it in place. Apple TV owners can type on an iPhone when the keyboard notification appears, far quicker than the Siri Remote.

  4. Run the first sync on home Wi-Fi

The app now fetches live groups and 120,000+ movies and series, which takes a couple of minutes on home broadband. Keep it off mobile data because the catalog is big. After this, only changes download, and new titles appear without you lifting a finger.

  5. Browse Movies by genre

Tap the Movies tile on the home screen. Categories such as genres and languages appear first; open one and swipe through the posters with the Siri Remote touch surface or your finger. Choose a poster to read about the film, then press Play. The search icon finds a title by name.

  6. Open a series and choose a season

Pick Series, then a show, then a season. Its episodes line up in order, so start at one or jump to where you stopped. If the next episode does not begin by itself, go back to the list and tap the next number.

  7. Change subtitles and audio tracks

On Apple TV, swipe down on the Siri Remote while a title plays; on iPhone and iPad, tap the screen. Then open subtitles or audio to see what the title carries. Some films list several languages, others none. Apple TV handles subtitle size and style under Settings, Accessibility, Subtitles and Captioning.

  8. Save films and resume them

Use the favorite or heart option on a film page to keep it for later. Stop partway, reopen the title and the app usually offers to resume, depending on the version. Each device keeps its own list, so the iPad and the Apple TV build separate watchlists.

  9. Keep 4K films smooth on Apple TV 4K

Apple TV 4K models with an Ethernet port play long 4K films best on a cable. On Wi-Fi, keep the router close. Skip AirPlay from a phone for 4K, because it doubles the traffic on your network. If a 4K title stalls, choose its FHD copy for the night.

  10. Add the login on other Apple devices

Install the app on each iPhone, iPad or Apple TV and sign in with the same details. The plan sets how many play together, from one to five. Live TV, the guide and catch-up on supported channels also come with the login if you want them later.

Where to find films and series on Apple TV and iPhone

Menu names shift a little between app versions, so use this as a map rather than a script. If a label differs on your screen, look for the closest match.

Big 4K films pausing? Check these first

  • Connection: a network cable or the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band holds a long 4K film far better than 2.4 GHz through walls.
  • Other traffic: pause large downloads, game updates and cloud backups in the house while the film plays.
  • The device: it must decode HEVC for most 4K titles; older sticks and TVs often play the FHD copy more calmly.
  • The copy: if one title stalls, pick its FHD version for tonight and tell support which film it was.

Apple TV and iPhone giving you trouble? Fixes that usually work

A film is listed but will not play

Look in the app settings for a choice of player engine. Moving off the default often starts stubborn titles, since a few use formats the built-in Apple player dislikes. If one film still fails while others work, send its name to our team on WhatsApp.

The app looks nothing like this page

You have probably installed a copycat. Delete it and find the listing whose developer is WHMCS SMARTERS. Your PrimeFlexMedia account is untouched, and the same details work in the genuine app straight away. Never pay a copycat for content.

Movies and Series stay empty

Make sure you picked the Xtream login rather than an M3U option, because Xtream fills the film and series sections properly. Then reload the profile. A big catalog can take a few minutes on its first sync, so leave the app open on Wi-Fi.

AirPlay drops during a film

With AirPlay, the phone downloads the film and then relays it through the router, so the network does the work twice. Run the app on the Apple TV itself. If you must cast, stay near the router and switch off Low Data Mode for your home Wi-Fi on the iPhone.

The App Store will not show the app

Store results follow the country on your Apple Account, not your location. After a move, the app may vanish until the account country matches. Search the full name first; if it still hides, our team can suggest another player that takes the same login.

Video pauses when the iPhone locks

A sleeping screen tends to halt video unless the app offers picture in picture. Extend Auto-Lock in Settings, Display and Brightness, keep the phone on a charger, or move longer films to the Apple TV.

A title has no subtitle option

Subtitles travel with each title from its source, and some films carry none. Try another copy if one exists. Updating the app can make track menus clearer. No language is guaranteed on any title.

PrimeFlexMedia on Apple TV and iPhone: common questions

What do I install for IPTV on an Apple TV?

Install Smarters Player Lite by WHMCS SMARTERS from the Apple TV App Store. Choose the Xtream Codes login and enter your PrimeFlexMedia details, using a nearby iPhone as a keyboard if you like. Once the first sync ends, open the Movies or Series tile and press Play. The whole process takes about eight minutes.

Is there a TiViMate app for Apple devices?

There is not. TiViMate only exists for Android-based devices, so any App Store app with a similar name comes from someone else. On Apple hardware, use Smarters Player Lite. If you really want TiViMate for films and series, plug a Google TV or Fire OS streamer into the TV and use the same login.

How do I switch subtitles in Smarters Player Lite?

Swipe down on the Siri Remote during playback, or tap the screen on iPhone and iPad, then open the subtitle or audio option. You will only see tracks the title actually carries, and that depends on its source. PrimeFlexMedia cannot promise a specific language on a specific film or episode.

Can a Mac play PrimeFlexMedia films?

It can. Macs with M-series chips run Smarters Player Lite from the Mac App Store, logged in through Xtream, giving the same Movies and Series sections. On an Intel Mac, open the PrimeFlexMedia M3U link in VLC instead, though VLC shows everything in one long list. Our computer guide walks through both.

Is the Premium upgrade in Smarters Player Lite needed?

No. The free version signs in to PrimeFlexMedia and plays films, series and live TV. Premium cost 1.99 dollars in September 2026 and only adds app features. Your library and channels always come from the PrimeFlexMedia plan, so nothing has to be bought inside the app.

Can my iPad and Apple TV play different films at once?

They can, provided the plan includes at least two screens. Each device that plays uses one stream, so a one-screen plan allows one at a time. With 2, 3 or 5 screens, people in different rooms can watch different films, and each device keeps its own favorites.
